SM Malls’ out-of-the-usual-box design has allowed Palafox Associates to redefine the paradigms for the design and construction of commercial facilities used for retail trade. By incorporating food courts, bowling plazas, movie theaters, restaurants, boutiques, department stores, and supermarkets in building complexes that have one of the most shopper-friendly parking community facilities, SM malls come first in providing customers with top-notch shopping, dining, and entertainment services.
SM City Fairview, specifically, has a designated atrium designed to establish a visual link between floors and shops. The structure’s undulating roof design permits daylight to enter, thereby giving the mall a fresh perspective. Also integrated in the plan is an intermodal transport terminal.
