Lying along the coast of the Pacific Ocean will be the Pacific Coast Cities. These are self-contained communities with industrial, residential, educational, and ports services.
These new townships are envisioned to help the country return to its historical status as the bustling and dynamic transshipment hub of Asia during the galleon trade years. The design of the port city, for instance, is aimed at addressing trade and promoting transshipment cargo handling. With at least 30,000 hectares in size, the area presents an ideal opportunity for development as it connects the Philippines to the rest of the world via the Pacific Ocean.
